A real face for food!!

Lady Gaga's Boot?

Would you eat here?

This cookie was introduced in 1912. R.D. Blackmore, a British novelist, was the author of a popular book, and the cookie was named for the lead character. Name that cookie!

The Lorna Doone shortbread cookie was introduced in 1912. No one, even at Nabisco, is quite sure of exactly how the name was chosen.  All that can be said is that R.D. Blackmore, a British novelist, was the author of a popular book titled 'Lorna Doone,' the lead character, Lorna Doone of course, was of Scottish heritage, and shortbread was considered Scottish. Hence, a shortbread cookie named Lorna Doone.Post your best guess and I'll put the answer up this afternoon!

Riddle: What did you eat?

Question: You throw away the outside and cook the inside. Then you eat the outside and throw away the inside.  What did you eat?

Answer: Corn on the cob:  You throw away the skin or sheaf, then cook it, eat the corn, then throw away the cob.

What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?

Pumpkin pi!

Apples? Really? I never knew!

The saying "As American as apple pie" is referred to as the symbol of America. The word "apple" comes from the Old English word "aeppel." there are approximately 10,000 different kinds of varieties of apples grown in the world with more than 7,000 of these varieties grown in the United States. Apples are a member of the rose family of plants and the blossoms are much like wild-rose blossoms.
